I completed column pits but up to 3 feet water bed is there how to secure Footing from water ? |

In this type of situation you should take help from any civil engineer or structural engineer who can give you advice and structural design after visiting the site. In this type of situation, in my view you should adopt the design of raft foundation by laying 6'' layer of coarse sand, than 9''-12'' layer of PCC1;4;8, then lay hot bitumen @ 1.7 kg per sqm and bind the polythene sheet when the bitumen is hot.After that for protection of polythene sheet lay 1'' cement concrete 1;2;4. Now lay steel reinforcement of raft footing and than lay the cement concrete 1;1.5;3 in the raft footing according to design. | | |
