Bath room should be in Eastern direction as such that while taking bath in the morning Sun Rays should enter. But in case the Bath room is other direction, then facing East one can bathe.
Regarding Closet facing, the closet should be in South-North direction.The WC should be in North West direction. | | |

Sanjay,
If the toilet seat is in the SW it can hamper the male health adverserly. It can also effect the relationships(family/spouse/social) adversely.
As far as the closet is concerned if you cannot have it opening towards North it is okay. You can however keep some small amount of money in some North facing cabinet. Do not remove the money from there.

Please remember vastu is requirement of social animal as per geogriphical condition.
If you are american kitchen is in front due to culture of american and lac of time having indepth analysis.Regarding Bath & WC it can be in any direction except NE. | | |
