how to consturct the circular wall in cement concrete using steel of diameter 30 feet,30feet height & 4.5 inch width.pls.tell me the quantity of material for this this is well constuction.

You should prepare form work for outer face and inner face according to the dia meter and construct the wall of well. The quantity of material can be calculated after obtaining details of steel reinforcement, ratio of cement concrete mix etc. | |

Nice description on the brick work! I have visited one construction site few months back in a rainy terrain. They were using polymer fibres in mortar. As per the site engineer, these polymer fibres induce elasticity in mortar and thereby reduces the possibility of formation of cracks. Can someone provide more info about this? What are the different additives available for crack prevention? | |

I would like to build an eco friendly house in a 30x40 site in Bangalore. The construction shall begin in the month Oct first wee. I would like to know disadvantages of compressed, chamber bricks & fry ash brick. I would like to also know the best one to procure & the place & cost of the brick. I would like to zero down on the same for an eco friendly cement available in the Bangalore market. I have a plan approved for a stilt level(basement at ground level) + a 2 floor. | |

iron = 3800 per qntl.
brick = 5000 per 1000

Hello Experts, I am in a dilemma,actually we have constructed a three story building without using the columns in it because we started construction ground floor onwards and there was not any column on the ground floor. My house is on top floor. I am thinking of partly breaking a wall between bedroom and study room to create space for a wardrobe. Is this doable. What precaution to take.
