The proper way of finding the total cost of the building and rate per sq feet is that to have detail estimate according to the drawing of your home, in which you are able to know about rates and cost of the building. After having details of each items and material you are in better position to bargain with the contractor. Join date: Dec 2012 | 1450 per sft is an exhorbitant cost for your area Slab cost which is 800 per sft which is 55% of the total cost is comical... Generlly construction costs including everything will not cross 1200-1300sft....Including wood work-sewarage-tiles-paint etc..... Slab cost will not cross 600 per sft for residential houses (40-50% of total cost) Untill u see the detailed estimate , don't commit to the contractor.Spend 25,000/- to 30,000 /-on a consultant of your choice who can guide you to save money because if you save 100 per sft your saving is Rs 1,63,000/- | |
