sir kindly let me know what should be the minium span distance between two colunms or for what size of a colunm can i have 25 feet gap between them.
also i want to build first floor in my existing house but i will able to have colunms only in the sides will it work.

The span or distance between the RCC columns depends according to site condition and size and MS Steel bars are according to loading condition, spanetc.It is not possible to tell about RCC columns without plan of the building. In my view you should consult structural engineer of your city for structural advice. | | |
