Hi All,
I'm planning to construct Compound wall construction for my house.
The length and depth of my site is 46.5 and 70 feet respectively.
I would like to construct compound wall strongly and at the same time am looking for cost effective.
Please suggest me how can i proceed for the same.
Regards, S Ravuri.
Dear S Ravuri
The design of compound wall is in direct relation to the height of compound wall. The height should be given so that design can be given.
The Height of the foundation is 4.5 Feet from ground level. So, planning to construct compound wall, by doing excavation of 3 feet and on top of it, arround 8 to 9 feet wall construction.
Please suggest me what is the best procedure for cost effectively and strongly we can construct compound wall.
Note: Beam will be there after excavating 3 feet and another beam will be there at foundation level. Each 5 to 6 feet gap, one column will come. This is what the initial idea.
Regards,
S Ravuri.
There are two ways for constructing 8' high wall i.e To construct RCC columns @ 10' to 12 feet interval and second option is to construct 9'' wall with brick pillar 1.125x 1.125 @ 9to 10 feet interval , using cement and coarse sand ratio 1;4.
