Sir,
I am planning to construct a new two story hose with an area of 800 sq feet ground floor and 300 sq.ft first floor. It will be helpful to me, if you could suggest the ways/tips from the beginning to final of the construction to reduce the construction cost of house

Join date: Sep 2014		In construction, the major expense comes from the materials which are used the maximum and in most modern construction, Concrete, Steel & Glass are main contributors to that.

You should consult an Architect and a structural designer to design or suggest the structure of your house, so that you do not spend on more than it is required, because most house owners, think that by putting in more steel they get a safer house, but in reality, there is something called as a safety barrier while designing a house, and once that is reached, it does not matter how much you add.

If you really have the time and patience, then 'Soil Compressed bricks' or fly ash bricks or even precast house modules could bring down your overall cost. Please share more details if you need detailed suggestion.
