| Topic: Cracks developed due to new construction of house by neighbor
WHAT is the right action i should take , please suggest me ?
That my nighbour has already constructed a stilt & 4+ floors of structure of building.
That building structure is weak and that causes has pressurized my house which has developed cracks in the walls and as well as the other neighbor’s house adjacent to other side of your building which are visible.
That due to the heavy and tall structure of his building which is not appropriately designed for RCC structure, due to vibration’s while carrying out the various construction jobs, my house has tilted on the other side which has resulted into disfigure of all doors and windows which now cannot be locked or open properly have lost alignment due to the pressure of his new contracted building, on my house.
That I have been drawing his attention towards these facts but he ignored to listen to my reasoning and continued constructing the high rise building.
That there is every likely hood that his building may fall on my house or if in future I dismantle my house to rebuild it, His building may fall or develop any defects because of his structural defects. |

After reading the contents and as you said that the owner of the building is not paying any attention to your and your neighbours problem.I am in view that first you should contact any structural engineer/ civil engineer and take his view after visiting the site of work and your and your neighbours house. If he satisfied that there is a fault on the part of contractor than you and your neighbours can take leagal action including stay of construction work. As per JPG sent by you shows that work is of inferior quality which shows MS Reinforcement and honycombing etc. | |
