I have an apartment in a 35 year old residential building which consists of ground plus 2 floors. A few days back the ceiling plaster and parts of the slab fell down. The false ceiling broke the fall and no one was hurt. In places where the concrete has given way, exposed the steel rods which are corroded or rusted. The terrace was waterproofed around 4 years ago and there were no leaks or dampness visible on the ceiling thro the past 4 rain season.
I need the guidance of experts to decide on the course of action to be taken to restore the integrity of the roof slab. The ceiling of the affected room is 10x9 feet.
Best Regards
