|  Topic: Demolition of RCC roof.
I had constructed about 800 sq feet of my ground floor out of the total 2000 sq feet. Now I am constructing the rest 1200 sq feet. In an earlier post I had sought advice on jointing the old and new RCC roofs. However, due to some design changes and the fact that a single cast RCC roof will be better than a jointed one I am demolishing the (old) 800 sq feet RCC roof. During the process of demolition I want to ensure that there is no damage to my walls / the cement bonds in the brick walls /vertical RCC pillars / PVC Pipes running in my wall. How do I ensure this ? I understand that a lot of energy will be released into the structure by the demolition hammers! |
