What is the Difference between Mortar and Masonary Plastering and which is best, quality and costwise..

Dear sunny

        The mixture of cement and sand in any ratio is called cement mortar. cement mortar varries according to the ratio i.e. 1 part of cement with 4 parts of sand is known as 1;4 similarally ratio is 1;2, 1;3 so on. There is no differance in cement mortar of masonary or plaster. It has differance in ratio.
