Basically what material you are using? If it is a Aluminium framed problem is simple to solve. I think if possible avoid using double fold shutters as it may cause problem in future, but if unavoidable for reasons like it (Single shutter) hinders with Wester W.C. Pot, and there is no other solution like reducing the size of pot, you may have to go for it. There are two types with every shutter fixed to both sides with hinges and single shutter with hinges at mid or at suitable distance. First one is preferable as it is little more sturdy and durable. Another may need a tower bolt at the bottom and top. It may sunk in future after some time. You have to be very causcious while selection of materials. You approach your Aluminium shutterwala or carpenter, he will make according to your need and design requirement. You have to properly guide him while making it.
