Entrance for South-West facting plot

My advice is, try to avoid direct South facing entrance door. (South = God of Death -Yam)

Lot of people love to put the entrance door in the East. Because Sun rises from the East.

You could use staggered wall to make sure the entrance door is from the East. By using staggered method one makes the wall sturdier.

I prefer Single entrance door rather then Double entrance door.

Main Entrance Door.

The effect of the position:
North-North East (good) = Ensures Financial gains
East-North East (good) = Causes Enlightenment.
South-South East = Ensures improvement
West - North West (good) = Ensures Success.
North-North West (bad) = Creates Un stability
East - South East (bad) = Causes adverse effect.
South-South-West(bad) = Causes Financial constraints and ill health of women.
West - South West (bad) = Causes Financial loss degradation of men.

It is preferable to go for a professional layout planning as per vastu for a South facing plot. Reason being that from South to West there are  specific directions which are favourable and it is very important that the main entrance is built in one of these favourable directions. Eg: There are 2 halfs of South the first half is favorable since it signifies: Dhan,Putra Vridhi meaning that there would be an increase in material benifits and if you are running a business you will gain from it. The 2nd half of South signifies: Rodra/Krithghan meaning that people may have a thankless approach towards your efforts. A careful planning as per Vastu will ensure and demarcate the entrance from the first half of South.

For your reference the following are favorable directions from South to West

1. 1st half of South: Material benifits

2. 2nd half of South West West: Material gains

3. 1st half of West:  Property gains

Only these 3 directions are favourable from South to West.

As far as the Temple is concerned a Temple in front of the house can cause obstruction to progress. However if the distance is around 80-100 ft there is no cause for worry
