Sir,

I am interested in using Ferro cement in the construction of one house (Underground floor (with two store rooms), Ground and first floor) with a plinth area of about 1200-1500 sq ft. Location southern Tamil Nady. Request your advice on using Ferro cement channel for roof cum floor, Ferro cement Lintels, Ferro cement kitchen and cupboard slabs, Fly ash bricks in Rat Trap bond for walls. I have downloaded / obtained brochures with BIS specs for FC Roof channels. However my contractor is not keen on employing these with the pretext that he does not have experience.

Please advise me on using above cost saving practises.
