Our house is in an area of around 215 sq. yards.
We are planning to re-construct the house. We are two married brother and parents also live with us. Have a family size of 7 members, including 1 child.
The builder told us that DDA bye-laws do not allow the home to be built-up in two section with having different entry, different kitchen etc... is it true?
How can be built the home in a way that with little modification 2 families can live.
Pls suggest ideas and possible layouts which will solve our problem.

For solving your problem, you should sent plan of the house you have already constructed as you want modification in the built up house. In case if you want to construct house after demolishing the old house, than you have made registration of the house in two names in court or DDA AUTHORITY and two seprate plan to be sanctioned from DDA. I am in view that consult local leaglal adviser for this problem.
