Join date: Mar 2008 | Dear Rohit Sharma 1. You should excavate earth in foundation at least 2feet and keep floor level at least 2 feet high from street or road. 2. When you are constructing RCC columns than keep the width of foundation width 23''

Hello sir,
Please Look at 3 attachments 1. GF 2. FF 3 Foundation as given by engineer
Now, Questions about gound floor. 1.
Please look at map if columns are marked rightly or sufficient? I want
medium quality home to save some bucks, but also do not want to
compromise the safety of residents in a building
2. at some places columns are spaced at even 17 to 19 feet distance, is it okay? all columns are 9*9 with 5 bars of 12mm as per engineer( But I'm planning to use 6 bars of 12mm)
3. you are free to add or minus the columns. Need your kind advice
Now, Questions about Foundation
This foundation is given by engineer without personal visit at the site. 1. M going with 23 base at the foundation as per your suggestions. 2. Is concrete bed at the bottom is necessary or can I use Roori ( crushed bricks)? 3. How about using second class bricks in the foundation? will it be safe for about 2 or 2.5 storeys?
Now, Questions about first floor.
Can
i extend 1st floor walls to 4.5 inches thick instead of 9 inches?
because i used 9 inches wall at the ground floor and now there is only
roof weight is there. Especially at the front side of the first floor?
Thank you in advance
