I am planning to renovate my floor with vitried tiles. Contractor is suggesting

          You should made floor rough by chilling, clean with wire brush than do final cleaning, and than fix the vitrified tiles with good quality adhesive. Care should be taken that before laying the tiles surface should be clean.In this process you have to cut door shutter to reduce the shutter size according to floor height. In past 10 years in govt. building 90% marble floor replace by ceramic tiles by using this method.
