Join date: May 2014 | The RCC slabs or Stone partitions are used in case of having termite (deemak) issues in the area or Moisture/Dampness issues. But its not easy to install the modular hardware on the same. It would have less finishing than a proper wooden almirah. The costing doesn't have a major difference. It has more life than a wooden one but can not be modified easily. | |

Hi,
Having a concrete slab may be cost effective, if the builder
is providing but, it leaves no scope of further flexibility while designing the
wardrobe. The internal partitions are restricted and permanent. The internal
finish and look remain unpleasant although you may cover it with beautiful
shutter from outside. Thus, considering the overall finish I would suggest you,
to opt out of it and think of Interiors from an ensemble view. Saving money in
tits and bits may lead to major compromises in the longer run. A lot of saving
can be done by creative planning and effective use of materials without
wastage.
