I understand that due to space problem u r giving the wash area behind the pooja but Try to avoid any waste water pipe touching the walls of the pooja. see untill unless you are using the area as a wash room only with out touching the walls with sanitary pipes and sanitary fittings it will be good. see if u can get it redesigned and place the wash away form the pooja room. 

one more alternative suggestion is create a cavity between the wash room and pooja room wall by construction an wall by leaving 6" to 9" space so that the pooja will become independent.
