|  Topic: Laminate Flooring Feedback
I am a dealer for ply,timber and laminates, and am thinking to add laminate flooring to the collection as well. Before that I wanted to know what is the scope and future of laminate flooring. Are they durable and easy to maintain? Do you see it getting popular in foreseeable future? As well as what are your views as consumer on laminate flooring.Please provide your feedback,would love to hear views from interior decorators and architects.

Laminate flooring is not much in demand due to its cost and similar king of cheap flooring is available. You should ignore it.

What type of material is it. Is it Wood, or PVC, or any other Film like material.
How to apply it. If it is Durable, long life, easy to install, and also cheap, then people will accept it, people are very smart these days.

Dear Mr Karan ,
In case of Wooden Flooring the option is between
1. Laminate Flooring : Based on HDF based with Laminated surface. Here no polishing is required. It also very cheap starting at 80- 90 psf.
2. Engineered Wood: Veneered srface with wood base. Its expensive going upto 1000 psf.
In India the mass demand is in Laminate Flooring in case of Wooden Flooring..
