 Topic: Lintel Beam
I am constructing a house which is having RCC frame structure. 
The columns are of 1 feet by 1 feet dimension.
The plinth beam is of 1 feet and 1 1/4 feet (15 inches ) dimension.
I am using concrete block in construction.
There will be a beam at roof level.
Do I need a continuous lintel beam connecting the entire frame or lintels just on doors and windows will be sufficient.

        It is better if you provide continuous lintel beam connecting the entire structure, which will provide extra safety in case earthquake.
