Hello, I am Dinesh from Bangalore. I plan to build a small farm house approx 600 sqft or even less, only ground floor and no pillar (only foundation). The structure could be living room, open kitchen, bedroom, bathroom & toilet.
My cost excluding (wood, plumber, electric & painting) is 4 lakhs. Do you see a feasibility in building a small house with this cost? What cost -effective options I have?
I was wondering precast concrete slabs could reduce cost, but not finding any suppliers for this in Bangalore? Any leads/ recommendations?
My plan is not to give it to any contractors as my budget is low.
Can I also get a breakup of the cost -
1. Foundation - labour & cost of materials (assuming 4 feet depth)
2. How many cement blocks I need? Whether hollow or concrete, which is better and the price?
3. I heard smooth cement blocks dont require plastering, what's your recommendation on this? If no plastering, what;s the recommended paints?
4. Construction of walls -- labour and material cost?
5. Roof - how much does it cost? Both materials & labor? sheets are not an option for me.
6. doors & windows
Await your response on this as I have no clue on this and this details could help me to take a call on whether I should proceed with construction or not.
