|  Topic: NEW TERRACE HAIRLINE CRACKS IN MORTAR
Have relaid the top layer of our terrace floor with a cemnt sand mix of 1:4 alongwith waterproof compounds.Curing was doen by waterfilling for 10days. I now find that the top layer has hairline cracks in many places. My contractor it is normal and now nothing can be done and there will be no issues. I am worried that these cracks will widen with time and also there will be leakages. Can the same be filled by crack fillings or some other solution and will this be a permanent solution.
