Need support regarding Beam steel design

 Topic: Need support regarding Beam steel design
I'm planning for a construction of a building on 2400 Sq Ft plot.
The building will be having 5 floors.

I've got the beam design from my arcitect which says

1. Each beam will be having 8 - 16 mm rod and of 2 ft thickness 
2. Distance between 3 columns are 21 ft and 19 ft.

Please let me know if the said steel design is okay to use or need to use more gauge thickness of steel.

         The design of any structure is based on the calculation made by the structural engineer considering the following factors.
1. Bearing capacity of soil.
2. Distance between columns in both the direction or span of beam and slab keeping in view the plan of the building..
3. Loading i.e.load coming on the different members of RCC i.e. on beam ,column and slab etc.
4. Earth quack safety of the structure.
Keeping in view all the factors by the structural engineer he made structure design of the house or building.
 Now if you have structural design than follow it.
