PROCEDURE FOR MEASURE PLINTH HEIGHT

 Topic: PROCEDURE FOR MEASURE PLINTH HEIGHT
MY BUILDER MEASURING THE PLINTH HEIGHT FROM GROUND LEVEL WHERE AS I AM ASKING HIM TO MEASURE IT FROM BOTTOM OF GROUND BEAM . WHAT IS THE CORRECT METHOD

The quarry is not clear, for what purpose to measure the plinth height, write in detail. However the floor level of the building or house is called plinth level.

Plinth height should be measured from top of the road in front of building.

WE HAVE DECIDED TO MAKE PLINTH LEVEL OF 3 AND HALF FEET HIGH. NOW THERE IS A DIFFERENCE OF ABOUT 9 INCHES IN GROUND LEVEL AND  BOTTOM OF  GROUND BEAM AS GROUND BEAM IS LAID ON RAISING THE COLUMNS 6 INCHES ABOBE GROUND .I WANT THAT PLINTH SHOULD BE MEASUREED FROM BOTTOM OF GROUND BEAM WHERE AS BUILDER WANTS TO MEASURE IT FROM GROUND LEVEL

Dear sunil

        In my opinion the height should be taken from the natural ground. If you laid the ground beam 1' or more than the 6'' you laid than what will be the position.
