Yes Mamta, God idol can be placed in the northeast direction. Actually northeast is the place for God. For door location you can get help from an expert because it needs analysis of kitchen location, washing area location and then door. May be there is need to analyze rooms location.

Pooja room should receive direct morning sunlight. By the time sunlight comes from roof, morning would convert into noon. I think so...
So there should be a window in the appropriate direction from where room get direct morning sunlight.

As per Vaastu, quadrants for dorections are drawn. I am planning to have Pooja room not exactly on Brahmasthan but in NE quadrant slightly awasy from Brahmasthan. Only drawback is that it is adjacent to Attached toilet where WC will be on other wall and I will have second wall which is common to attached bathroom so physically I am separating these 2 enclosures by constructing 2 walls. Please guide or suggest remedy for it.

Hi all,
I am planning to buy a flat. I am bit confused where I need to keep my Pooja room in that. The flat main entry faces to NE direction. I am planning to place my Pooja room in NW and god faces towards NE. Is this a correct direction?
