Join date: May 2014 | Please file a complaint if he has done a contract. Or handle him with the help of your friends and family. He can not complete your project now. May be he is inexperience. There are people like him in the market which cause sudden damage to the reputation of other builders/civil contractors. He has to pay you the rent of the time of delay he is causing you. He is your servant not you. Keep your hold on him.

There are few unprofessional people out there who do not respect this industry and are spoiling its name. The builder, if has entered a contract with you, please read it carefully and get it accessed by a lawyer and especially if there is a penalty clause mentioned, wherein, it should ideally let you know, what happens, legally , if the builder is not abiding by the contract.
Though, we too would suggest, first to handle it with the help of your friends or family Architect and if not then ire a lawyer, to take it up legally.
