|  Topic: RCC Lintel , cast and material esitmate
dears,
I want to get estimate of material quantity for my home second floor lente.
total covered area is 1400 sq ft . 5 inch thick lintel is proposed.
i want to get estimate of quantity.
cement
steel bar.

Dear ndmalam. Hello.. I think you want to know about Roof slab of second floor, for 5" thick ,1400 Sq.Ft. area ,the required materials for Concrete at ratio 1:2:4, Cement 120 bags , Sand (fine aggregate) 450 cuft. Coarse aggregate (Gitty) 1/2"+3/4" 600 cuft. Steel Bars._ Steel should be as per Steel design of Roof Slab,and calculated for slab ,Balconies and Beams, the sizes of steel bars depends on span of slab and beams. approximately for slab only it will be about 1600 kg. Kindly get steel design as per plan with local Structural Engineer and save material and money... regards | | |
