Dear Pendli, Kindly send these details 1, Thickness of foundation walls? 2.Is there a plinth beam?if yes ,wht is the size? 3. Height of the Room? 4.Concrete Bricks used are Solid or Hollow ? 5.Its a single room or attached by other rooms?(plz..make it clear with help of plan). Join date: Jun 2013 | 1. NO plinth baem. 2 Room height is 10 feet 3. Bricks are only solid. 4. It is a single room. 5. I dont have the plan in but it is a simple 20 ft lenght and 12 feet wide. with a traditional foundation of 3 feet deep 15 inches width filled with stones with voids filled with sand and cement. regards

Join date: Dec 2010 | Dear Pendli , As you have 15" wide foundation, provide brick pillars (14" x 14") on four corners and 2 no. on 20' wall and 1 no. on 12' wall. Lay a RCC band at Lintel level(at 7') . A RCC slab can be designed for this span.. | |
