Practical advantages and disavantages of using a wooden flooring.

Advantages of wooden flooring
 
•    It is available in natural pattern and in various colours.
•    Its colours remain the same in wood for very long time.
•    It is strong and tough. 
•    It is weather proof.
•    It is easy to clean and maintain.
•    It has unsurpassed beauty and value to the house.
•    Dirt and stain never stick to hard wood floor.

Disadvantages
•    Wooden flooring is costly.
•    Its maintenance cost is more.
•    It can be affected by termite.
•    It catches fire quickly.
•    It looses its shine and life if water and other liquid drop on it.
•    It looses shine over time giving a dull look as compared to stone/tiles flooring.
•    It can be damaged while dragging any heavy objects, furniture etc.
