| Topic: Roof of 250 sqft covering back yard
My house has a small backyard 25 ft by 10 ft, bounded by a 10 ft compound wall.
The house has sunshades at 10 ft height and I want to remove them and cover this yard with a 5" RCC roof at the same 10ft height. Roof will span house to compound wall, a distance of 10ft. (the other dimension is 25ft.)
I am thinking that I will need at least 4 columns on the boundary (compound wall) but I am not clear how the roof will be attached to the house at the lintel beam.
I would like to know how much this project would cost overall with a rough breakup of the different elements, columns, slabs, etc.
Thank you for your kind help.

Thank you for your interest.
1) Is the range you have given (1000-1200 per sqft) based on 4 columns on wall side to support the roof slab?
2) Will it be safe to use the existing lintel beam to attach the roof or will columns be needed on the house side also?
I am sorry to ask such basic questions, hope you will not mind.
Thanks again, sir, I look forward to your reply.
