Hi All,
I have a 1000 Sq feet house which has 1 rcc Slab. on this slab there is a rcc slab only for the part above the stairs. I now want to build two rooms on both sides of the Stairs. Please suggest me roof design styles with clay tiles.

I have opted for making roof of fabricated steel frames and magalore tied roof. However the fabricator is saying that there are galvanized sheets that look like tiles. this will cut costs and still keep the look of the roof nice.
But i am not sure of this. Can someone help me with the pro and cons of magalore tiles Vs galvanized sheets. Attached is the roof design and a sample tiled roof fabricated structure.

Also known as kicked eaves, a bonnet roof has four sides with a steep upper slope, and a more gentle lower slope, providing cover around the edges of the house for a porch. Box gable roofs have two sloping sides that meet to form a ridge, with a triangular extension on either side that is boxed off from the walls. A butterfly roof, otherwise known as an inverted pitch roof, emulates the wings of a butterfly with two tandem pieces of roofing angled upwards to form a V-shape. A clerestory roof has an interior wall built extending above one section of the roof, with this section of wall often lined with several windows, or one long window. A combination roof is, quite literally, a combination of types of roofs. Often incorporating two or more designs for aesthetics and practical reasons, combination roofs can feature a range of styles. | |
