Thanks for your Prompt Response and i have also gone through both Articles very infomative.
Please also suggest
1. What should be minimum distance between two plillar?
In my case architact has given distance 13feet 8 inch and size of pillar is 9X9 SQINCH
2.What should be MS rod size for these pillar.

The distance between the pillars are according to site conditions. There are no any rule for minimum distance.
Use at least 6 nos 16 mm bars in the coolmns. | | |

i have planing to build a house and the total area is 512 sqft could you please let me know how much steel do i need to buy for the roof. and i will put 4 columns in there these will be 9x9, thank you.

Join date: Dec 2019 | dear mr.gupta iam planning my house for g+4 construction and my column size is 9"×15 " .. total area is 1800 sft with 20 nos of columns .and spacing b/w columns is 3-5mtrs.....its already constructed g+3 ie 4 slabs done... can i plan for 5 slab??? for total g+4 constrution... sugest me sir. | | |
