There are many steps for under taking the construction of swiming pool.
1. Excavate the pool in the ground according to the required size, care should be taken that the bottom layer of the foundation should be compacted. There should be no soft places in foundation due to roots etc. Any soft/ defective spots should be dug out and be filled with concrete/ hard material.
2.Lay bottom layer of cement concrete with care that the concrete should be mechnically mixed and well compacted.
3. Construct the R C C side wall and lay floor concrete but care should be taken that the concrete should be mechnically mixed and vibrated, the sand used in the concrete shoud be washed coarse sand with silt not more than 4%, care should be taken that there should be no voids in the concrete.
4 finish the surface with glazed or ceramic tiles.
Main point to be kept in mind while construction is that all the process done simultaneously and without giving long gaps means the work should not so dry before taking the next step, if this this may creat leakage.
