I think You should go for light green color because you are sharing this room with kids. Green tone is good for concentration.

I also think light green would be great choice for bedroom. We in our house went with Reptilian 50GY 43/102 color (light green classic) by CIL, ICI paints Glidden. for living room and hallway.
But one of my favourite color is SPRINGTIME SW6708 color (light green) Sherwin Williams, which went in parents bedroom. It sort of like lime green light. From the looks of it looks like latest color. my mother didn't mind.
In India you could find a matching color from a different paint company.
Green is healthy color.
For some reason, I can't seem to connect with blue, yet. Maybe your views might be different.
Bottom line is, your house must look like a complete unit with color choice.
India is color and you must use color.

The color combination is totally different from Feng Shui colors. In Feng Shui, North is for Blue or Black, South is for Red Centre is for Yellow etc,. In my field experience I found Feng Shui color combination better for happy living. | | |
