hi, we are planning to buy a house and have seen a house that we like.. just wanted to check if the house is ok as per Vaastu.. while dividing the house into 9 squares as per the Vaasru Purusha mandala grid, to check the location of each room in the house, should we consider the entire house (including the backyard and front yard) or only the house? and seperately do it for the backyard? please advise.. | | |

I want to find a way out: I have a narrow plot of land by the sea. In order to fullfill the requiremnt that the house should be on the south east corner of the plot, my house would either face west (the sea) but cut off the view from the rest of the plot, as it would all be behind my house or my house could face north - not the sea (which would defeat the purpose of buying a sea facing plot). Second question: My well (water source) is in the north east corner as required by vastu, but do I need to place the swimming pool also in this corner and the house in the diagonally opposite corner? Pl help... there must be some science to vastu, that accepts the elements and does not ask you to block them. | | |

The East and North facing plots are appropriate for house construction. Care should be taken while designing the house facing West and South direction because some directions have positive impacts while the other have negative on occupants of the house. For example if the kitchen is in South-East, there are always good results on health. But if the kitchen is in North-East, the health is affected adversely. | | |

Very simple steps to use vastu compass are: - Every chart has its own purpose and significance. You must select the chart as per our purpose/ objective.
- You just place the chart on the vastu compass in such a way that centre pin of compass should comes out from the middle point of chart. You have to sit in the closed room so that there should be no disturbance from wind or air.
- Place the given direction-indicating needle on the centre- pin.
- Just look at the needle, it starts rotating freely. By the time needle would move slowly and would set in one direction. As soon as the needle stops then that is the best direction.
- Every compass have a red mark on the needle, that red mark represents north direction. From the north direction, the other directions can be determined easily.
- You have to rotate the needle in such a way that the “Red” mark on the needle or the ‘N’ pole come exactly over the ‘N’ pole of the chart. Place the instrument on the flat surface. then only it would give you exact results.

Vaastu Gurus, I have a north facing plot where construction completed and engineer failed to point the below defect before constrction. North east corner of the plot is not 90degree. It decreases to one and a half feet towards north. East-west on south end is 30 feet and east-west on north end is 31 and half feet. How to correct this defect? | | |

Road on the west and 8' common passage on the south. The east is 40'.6", the north is 75', the south is 75' +7' = 82' and the west is about 32'. None of the lines is parallel.This 7' is on the west side on the road. Please Help. Can this plot be bought. We can not make up our mind as to whether to buy this plot or not. Thank you

Hi!! I have bought a 30X40 feet South facing site, planning to build a house on it. I need a plan for basement parking, Ground Floor with a Two bed room House for RENT , First and Second floor would be a duplex house with 4 bedrooms for my own purpose.
