Join date: Jun 2013 | Not to scare anyone, but our older dog (like a child to us) was diagnosed with liver cancer and died within a few short months. She was perfectly healthy before this. We left this home in a hurry.
I knew that a boring, sump in SE is inauspicious and leads to the death of a child, fear of fire etc. The landlady (also a real estate agent) who owned this home was constantly scared the home would catch fire - it did not make any sense, but it does not matter now. We are heartbroken and have learned the hard way. In fact there was no way for us to know. In twenty years of living in the US we have never come across a well- covered or not on a property - just our darned luck. | | |

Join date: Jun 2013 | I was not necessarily seeking advice on this issue, this was a while back and we have since left this house. But it was important to share the experience hence the post. My mistake that I thought this was a forum where people helped each other.
