You are looking for water tank quality first of all please note this that water tank material must be marked food grade . 3 layer tank is better and tank must be white from inside . outer is black or white it does'nt matter . water in white tank become less warmer than in black tanks mostly in summers.
now if water is salty tanks doesnt get effected the problem will occur with the pipe lines it should be upvc pipes because salty water spoils the GI pipes within 4 to 5 years. you can use larger ro waterpurifiers to prevent your GI pipelines.
thanks

Hi Pankaj,
THanks for your valuable advice. But I still have some concerns, as you told that we must use the White coloured Water tank. I have heard that the white water tanks develop the Algae very quickly as compared to Black ones.
On the other hand the water in Black water tanks gets warmer quickly as compared to White ones. So what would you suggest.
Also what is the difference between the 2 or 3 layer water tanks, is it the coating that matters or there are 2-3 sheets of plastics are joined to form a water tank. Recently I have seen the water tank stating a 4-layer one and offering me a price of Rs 4.50/ Litre.
Please give me your views on the same. | |
