Topic: can v construct the 1st floor on 10 yrs old building but the coloumn rods are cut till slab level

Hi,

I have purchased a Ground Floor house with 222 yards and which is constructed on 2003.

I want to construct 1st floor on this building but columns rods are not available and those rods were cut till slab level.

Can u pls suggest how can    I build 1st Floor and is it safe 2 construct 1st floor on this existing building

Dear Nagaraju
        It is better if you consult any structural engineer / civil engineer form your city , who will guide you after inspecting the site.
In my opinion if columns steel is not available than it is very difficult to start column for this you have to dismantle the old column at top but better to get consultation.
