 Topic: construction of multi storey building
 I am an environmental consultant. I would like to know the  quantities of various raw materials viz. cement, sand, bricks, steel, water  and any other raw materials required in construction of  say 20 storeyd building with say apartment size of 100sq. ft.

This is required to estimate the environmental impact the construction of  similar high rise buildings have on the environment.

Pl. suggest me an empirical formula to estimate various raw materials  for multi storeyd buildings with specific number of storeys or with say specific number of dwelling units with given floors.

          There are many books or material for detail of quantity of construction items, these also printed in states PWD OR CPWD SHEDULE OF RATES.Some are as under
1. c.conc.1:8:16 for 1cum= cement= 1.8 bags, sand .5 cum, brick or stone ballast= 1cum
Brick work 1:7 ratio for 1cum= cement=1bag, sand .25 cum, bricks= 480 nos.
