Hi everybody! I am a big fan and a regular visitor of this site. I am in a great dilemma regarding my house plan. I have uploaded my Floor Plan. Please provide some information.
1) What should be the actual numbers & dimension of pillars required for this plan
2) Whether position of pillars shown in plan are correct. If not, then what will be right position of pillars and distance between two pillars.
3) The 5 numbers of 4” Walls between the rooms in the Gr. Fl plan are not positioned through the line of main Pillars is there any problem regarding taking load of 1st Floor ?
4) Whether position of puja room is correct as per vastu.

The position of pillars/ RCCcolumns are correct and the size may be 9''x 9'' is sufficent and which can be easily accomodated in 9'' thick wall.
You can lay 4.5'' wall on RCC slab, for this mark the position of wall on the shuttering and lay 3 nos 16 mm dia steel bars extra for taking load of 4.5'' wall.
