Topic: floor tiles

for my flat renovation appro size 1100 sq ft.which floor tile

i should purchase (johnson glazed vitrified or kajari ) and

which size 600X600 or 800X800

JAI PRAKASH Join date: May 2014	Hi Sir, Both Brands are good. The size depends upon your budget. 2x2 is cheaper than 32x32, also the installation charge is more for a bigger tile. The bigger tile may have a bend on the edges which will not give you a fine finish after installation. For long life buy double charge anti skid bigger tiles 48x32 on which you can do buffing after 5-10 years like polish on stone. But that tile would be more expensive @ the rate of around 125/Sq.ft. That will give you a finish of Italian stone worth 500/Sq.ft.

S L Gupta (Civil Engg) Join date: Mar 2008	Dear Abhey Take any of good brand tiles, name given by you are are of good brand. The suggestion made by Sh Jai parkash is good. But one thing more if you have high standard of living and there are no small kids than use big size costly tiles other wise go for small size.
