Dear Nitin Bardia
Normally, Kota Stone is used in lobby's of hospitals. Other options for hostpital lobby flooring includes ceramic tiles, porcelain or terrazo flooring.

You should quit the conventional approach and go for linoleum. It is ideal for hospitals as it is bacteria resistant and eco friendly. It is made of lin seed oil and cork powder, lasts forever, you can combine different colours and come up with a beautiful design.
Please don't go for marble and tiles. We already have a million hospitals with such flooring. It is available in India through many companies, I have installed the one from Armstrong.
Good Luck

I think kota stone floor would be the best for the hospitals because
- low maintenance
- less slippery
- highly durable
