 Topic: i am constructing first floor. i want to keep common wall to neighbour be 4.50 i
i am constructing first floor. i want to keep common wall to neighbour be 4.50 inch size .how to start and precaution i should take to avoid seepage and good foundation to roof of this floor?want to leave neighbour common wall as it is.

        You want to construct 4.5'' wall with your neighbor wall. Take foundation 2' wide from firm ground at least 3' deep.

Join date: May 2014		The common wall would have the Lantel on it. So no need to worry. Just ask your mason to keep your requirement in mind.

           It is correct you construct 4.5'' wall but at the time of laying roof you should lay 9''x 6'' beam on the wall for support of roof .
