Vastu considers the NE as the antenna for receiving positive energies or you could say the NE is like the head of a human body. We also have to understand the flow of energy pattern below the surface of the earth ( in one of my earlier posts I have explained the same).

 Ideally the NE should be open and free from obstruction. However due to paucity of space a bedroom is still a better option than a staircase. A room will have the walls in the corners and not necessarily oppress the NE. The placement of furniture can also be done in such a manner that it does not obstruct the NE. A staircase however will weigh down the NE energies. Since a staircase is vertical and the weight is concentrated on one particular area and if this area is NE it is like putting a heavy stone on someone's head!!

I would suggest you take up a course from the city you are based in. the institute I did the course from does not give postal lessons. I also do not take postal or net lessons
