I think , Mirror opposite to then you open the main door should be removed or covered. You can put a beautiful painting/poster/hanging on it rather than leaving a wall blank. You can put the picture representing the scene of road or path which is going into the depth into the forest so that positive energy could not escape until the door close back.

Mirrors are called the aspirin of feng shui for a good reason. It is not recommended to have a mirror facing the main door is because the mirror pushes away all the good feng shui energy that is about to enter the house.
In feng shui it is considered that the house absorbs energy through the main door, similar to a human face absorbing nutrition through the mouth. This is why the main door is often called the mouth of a house in feng shui.

A Mirror Should not reflect the North, North-East and the East. Incase your main door faces a wrong direction like the South, Southwest, Southeast etc...Mirrors are used as cures to deflect the negative energies entering the house.
