Yes the plan/sketch with proper direction would definately help to understand the situation. Apart from this just analyze, have you experienced any sever impact because of this ? If the Answer is no in that case please ignore this.

To get the correct answer, physical verification of the site is must. To get an idea at least the plan or picture is necessary. Because of the structure only how you have decided? What are the problems faced by you and from how much period? Without knowing the basic facts the answers are vague and useless.
