30% area covered by mortor and rest by bricks

The quantity given by Sh. S.K JAIN is correct. the consumption of bricks per cft is 13.5 nos but this include wastage which comes in the form of brick bats.

For 1cft brick work in cement mortar 1;4is
Bricks= 13.5 nos
Cement= 0.05 bags
Sand = 0.3cft
