Dear Gaurav, hello..! The Wood required for a door frame 7'-6" x 3'-0" with section of 6" x 2.5" 6" x 2.5" x 7'-6" long x 2 no..= 1.5624 Cu.Ft. 6" x 2.5" x 3'-0" long x 1 no..= 0.312 Cu.Ft. Total = 1.8744 Cu.Ft. if the cost of wood is Rs.!500 per Cuft The total cost will be 1.8744cuft. x Rs.1500 = Rs. 2811.60 To convert cost in to Running foot--- 7'-6" long x 2 no.=15 ft. 3'-0" long x 1 no = 3 ft. Total.= 18 Running ft. Total cost is divided by running foot you will get the cost of wood section 6" x 2.5" in running foot..ie. 2811.60/ 18 = Rs.156.20... I hope it will solve your problem...Regards | |

Join date: Aug 2012 | Let us find the quantity of wood in 1 frame.
7.5 feet x 2 = 15 feet ( running ft.) 3.5 feet x 1 = 3.5 feet ( running ft.) total wood = 18.5 running ft
you say rate is 200 rs per running ft then the cost of frame 18.5 x 200 rs = 3700 rs.
