Dear Anjani K

Steel doors offers clean appearence, airtight seal and security. But it also has some advantaes and disadvantages.

Advantages:
 
•Steel doors are extremely durable and has great strength.
•They can also be polished.
•Resistant to rust, shrinking, discoloration and corrosion.
•It is fire proof and spread protection against the spread of fire.

Disadvantages: 
 
•Steel doors easily corrode due to presence of iron in it.
•Doors made from steel can be dented easily.

Desicion about which type of doore used at home is influenced by personal taste. If protection from intrusion and fire is priority, then steel doors is good choice.
